Following on from weather related drama in June at the D**e, which led to Captains Day being abandoned….

The Players Championship was played in beautiful sunshine and 27 holes completed at Singing Hills golf club.

Congratulations to Richard Lodge, Chris Angell and Al Giddings on all scoring 36pts each……….but after count back;

Winner - Richard Lodge
Runner up - Chris Angell
3rd - Al Giddings

Spoon - Tony Mitchell (19pts)

Also a congratulations to Richard ‘RDee’ Davies on scoring 34pts in the 9 hole Founders Cup.

Not Long now to The Richard Moules Memorial Golf day at Horsham Golf followed by an evening at The Partridge. What's not to like, raising much needed ££ for The British Heart Foundation, a day of Golf > BBQ > Disco > refreshments, tall stories....Perfect!

A fantastic day at Copthorne Golf Club in which 35 PGS members fought hard around a truly magnificent golf course, plenty of well placed ditches and bunkers to catch us out. Thank you to Copthorne Golf Club for your splendid hospitality.

The Masters 2026 - result.

Congratulations to Graham Harrison 34pts on his winning performance at Clandon Regis. Joining him on the podium were Runner up Chris Angell 31pts (C/B), third place Mark Harrison 31pts.

Also congratulations to Jamie Young on winning the Champion of Champions cup, and finally to Dave Barter on winning the wooden spoon 😂.

The night before the start of the season….excitement in many homes tonight, clubs being cleaned, clothing being laid out, dreams of birdies and holes in one……

4 (four) new members and 2 returning members (The return of the Mack!) will be out on the fairways tomorrow at Clandon Regis.

Horsham was very sticky and soft in places, but still 23 brave souls hacked around to complete the season.

Congratulations to Darren Parton on his maiden PGS event victory winning The RJM Xmas Cup after scoring a festively plump 42pts. Slipping into 2nd place via count back was Mark Oratis 40pts from Ben Garman 40pts.

The Wooden Spoon's winter handler is Richard Gee after his splendid 20pts.......

Congratulations to Jamie Young (197pts) who managed to fight off, just about I might add Joe Bullingham (195) and Ben Garman (193) to win the title of Player of the Year!

Justin Reynolds (36pts) claimed the 'Super six' bragging rights, via count back from Jamie Young. Mark Harrison won his 'annual' awards for season long drives (4) and nearest the pins (6).

AGM is on January 19th at The Partridge pub 8pm.
