These days, Galloway Activity Centre is run by Adam and a team on a mission to make this the best day out in Dumfries & Galloway.

Yes, you can still get out on the loch... but we're so much more than a sailing centre.

Think Giant Swing, Wobbly Waterpark, paddleboards, canoes, laser tag, archery, a brilliant café and enough adventures to keep the whole family busy for hours.

So if your last visit was back when everyone called it "the Sailing Centre"... this is your sign to come back and see what all the fuss is about.

Ready to build your skills on the water? 🚤

We’ve got two courses coming up at Galloway Activity Centre this autumn!

🚤 RYA Powerboat Level 1 & 2
📅 19th–20th September
Two practical days covering the essential skills you need to handle a powerboat safely and confidently.

🛟 Safety Boat Course
📅 17th–18th October
Develop your skills on the water and learn how to provide effective safety and rescue support.

Both courses are hands-on and delivered right here on Loch Ken by our experienced instructors.

Spaces are limited so book your place and get out on the water with us! 💙

Rhys, our Director of Fun, was recently down inspecting the brand-new section of the Wobbly Waterpark.

We think he approved. 😂

One word of warning though… don’t say no to the Director of Fun. You will be chucked in. 💦

We all know who the real boss is around here!

ONE WEEK TO GO…

In just one week, the schools go back across Dumfries & Galloway.

Which means there’s one week left to squeeze every last drop out of the summer holidays.

One more “just one more go!”
One more jump in the loch 💦
One more family adventure.
And one more chance to properly tire the kids out before September.

But don’t worry, we’re not going anywhere. We’re open all year round, so the adventures don’t stop when the school holidays do.

For now though, let’s make this last week of summer count 💪
