My son suffers from night terrors.
I find it’s associated with needing the toilet. I know this might seem strange but he instantly calms once I sit him on the toilet and he has been!
Of course it’s not just as simple as that but in the moment it calms him. I have realised there is an underlying anxiety linked to this which is often about school for him and he talks about his worries after the night terror night. Can you relate?

My name is Jemma
I have been a parent practitioner and family support worker since 2008. Prior to that I have worked with children and families in a variety of settings since 1997.
Working in the public sector supporting families in the community, at home and in schools.
A parent myself I understand the difficulties families face and the support that might be required.
I can tailor individual support to your family requirements.
