More summer success for the boat club, as Lucy wins the WJ16 single sculls at Henley Town & Visitors Regatta!
Fantastic to win some more silverware after a hugely successful season with the Senior Girls Squad.

As the British Rowing Team came away with the overall team trophy for the Coupe de la Jeunesse, we are overjoyed with Eve’s performances - culminating in a gold and silver medal across the weekend. She is an inspiration for future Pangbourne athletes. Pangbourne College is incredibly proud!

🇬🇧 GOLD FOR GREAT BRITAIN 🥇

Eve wins on the Saturday of the Coupe de la Jeunesse, with pairs partner Phoebe!

Italy, France and Great Britain shot out to the front of the pack to dictate the pace. After 500m, the speed was too hot for the French, as the Italians threw push after push to eat into the British lead. After answering all the questions posed by the Italians, Eve and Phoebe pulled away in the final strokes to claim gold by just over a length!

Pangbourne are incredibly proud of Eve, what a performance!

Eve now rests up for another chance at a medal in tomorrow’s regatta, lining up for Great Britain once more.

🚨 HISTORY MADE 🚨

For the first time EVER, a Pangbourne Girls’ 8+ has qualified for Henley Royal Regatta. This is also the first Pangbourne girls boat to race at the event in 10 years.
Come support for the clap out at 9:10 from boat tent H. Racing Henley Rowing Club at 9:40 on Tuesday 💙💙💙💙

Our Boys 1st VIII performed tremendously in their qualifying race, unfortunately missing the qualification spots. They’ve worked hard over this season and have learned lessons in abundance. The club are proud of them.

Great day out at The National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham for the Junior Inter Regional Regatta, where two Pangbourne crews were invited to represent the Thames Upriver Region. In a tight final the WJ15 4+ took the gold! Well done Anna, Skyler, Maisie, Flora, Louise. Equally another well done to Lucy, who competed in the highly competitive event of WJ16 1x; placing 23rd in her TT and 4th in her final! Well done all 👏
