Tickets are available behind the bar, or from Andy N - Β£1 per entry with draws every Monday night following the Wappenshaw.

The first draw will take place on Monday 22nd June.

If your tickets is pulled you automatically win Β£10 and you or a nominated person will turn over one card in the display cabinet - an Ace pays Β£25 and if you find the JOKER you win the Jackpot.

First week's JACKPOT is Β£500 and will rise each week based on the number of entries.

Remember, only those who participate within the first 6 weeks of each game will be allowed to purchase tickets once the prize pot starts to build so don't miss out!!! πŸ’·

Yesterday I had the Honour of hosting the District Under 18s Showdown in my 1st year as District Youth Coordinator.

Amongst the players we had 3 of our U18s, Abbie Harris, Rachael King & Ryan Kerr.
This was Rachael's 1st competitive game and didn't let herself down πŸ‘

All Players walked away with a medal, including Megan Smith of Robertson Park, who had to leave before the Presentation and Thomas Fernandes of Priorscroft.

The next stop for Abbie, Ryan, Blair, Braxton, Annie & Jack is Northfield on Saturday the 8th of August.

πŸ’₯ Cardonald Mixed Friendly πŸ’₯

Yesterday was the annual Cardonald Bowling Club Mixed Friendly where President David McLucas welcomed our visitors on a nice sunny afternoon 🌞
The usual friendly banter and couple of drinks during the games made for an enjoyable day.

Afterwards it was inside to tot up the scores and see who had the bragging rights for the year.
The "wee man and woman" get to spend another year at Ralston Bowling Club πŸ†πŸ˜œπŸ‘ they must like it here πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

The players and bar staff were then treated to a "single fish 🐟 supper" from the newly opened chippy Cardonald Fish And Chips πŸ˜‹ πŸ˜‹ not a single box wasn't scraped clean πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

We now look forward to making that short trip along the Paisley Road next year.

Just turned 17 this is some achievement having already played for the Under 18s Abbie makes the full jump to the Ladies Team.

Both Ladies will contest the District 25 Ladies Final on Saturday at Charleston Bowling Club at 2pm in what is sure to be another not to be missed game.

Last Saturday saw the club hosting the annual McGregor mixed triples sponsored by president David and secretary Mags McLucas.

Another excellent turnout saw Stuart Clark, Tommy Paterson and Joyce Rattray reaching the final but ultimately coming second following a great performance from Marie Morrison, Alan Gorman and Celia Gorman.

On Sunday our very own District Youth Coordinator, Craig Sinclair, will be running the District Under 18s Showdown which will feature our own Under 18s players along with the Under 18s from around the District as they look to qualify for the National Finals at Northfield on Saturday 8th August ( and hopefully Sunday 9th August)

If you are free on Sunday please come along and support our entries and the Youth players from the District πŸ˜€πŸ‘
The Cardonald Mixed friendly is being played in the afternoon so both greens will offer plenty of Bowling to watch if your not playing in the friendly πŸ˜€πŸ‘
