Yesterday I spent the day in Belfast with my mum and Harri.
At one point, my mum mentioned that the airport terminal we were standing in was the last place she spoke to my dad before he passed away.
It stopped me for a moment
My dad used to say, “We may never pass this way again.”
I never really appreciated what he meant until yesterday.
We spend so much of life looking ahead to the next thing that we forget to appreciate the moment we’re actually living.
Nothing in life is guaranteed.
But that’s also what makes days like yesterday so special.
The laughs, the conversations, the memories… that’s what all the hard work is for.
If this makes you think about someone you haven’t spoken to in a while, or reminds you to make time for the people who matter, then maybe that’s your sign to do it.
We may never pass this way again.
Have a great weekend, and I’ll see you next Thursday.
