Paignton Swimming Club If you have a child that would like to learn to swim, or improve their swimming ability, Paignton Sw We follow the ASA National Plan for Teaching Swimming.

If you have a child that would like to learn to swim, or improve their swimming ability, Paignton Swimming Club can help. The Club will accept children from 5 years old that are complete non-swimmers. Once in the Club, we offer a “Club for Life” – that is, a child entering at 5 years of age can stay in the Club and go on to adulthood. We also have a vibrant water polo section for all ages and abilities, come and give it a go!

A reminder that our One Length Gala takes place this evening (Friday 19th June).

⏰ Warm-up: 6:00pm
🏁 Start: 6:15pm

Please note that there will be no normal B3, Silver 1, Silver 2 or Gold sessions tonight (6:00pm–8:00pm) due to the gala.

✅ Platinum training will run as usual at 8:00pm.

We would be very grateful if any Platinum swimmers are able to help out with the event this evening.

Good luck to everyone taking part, and we look forward to seeing you poolside!

Good luck to all swimmers selected to represent Paignton Swimming Club in Round 2 of the National Arena Junior League, hosted by Exeter at Riverside Leisure Centre.

🕒 Please meet the Team Managers in reception by 3:45pm at the latest
🏊 Warm-up: 4:00pm
⏱️ Competition starts: 4:20pm

Good luck to all swimmers competing this weekend at Plymouth Life Centre

📅 Saturday 6th June – Developments (Weekend 1)

🔹 No poolside access before 12:30pm or until directed by Life Centre staff
🔹 1500m sign-in closes 12:30pm (corridor by diving pit entrance) – swimmers must sign themselves in
🔹 Session 1 warm-up: 12:45pm
🔹 Session 1 starts: 1:10pm
🔹 Session 1 finishes approx. 3:30pm (subject to 1500m heats)
🔹 Session 2 warm-up: Not before 3:20pm (Open/Boys first)

📅 Sunday 7th June – Sprints

Join us for our annual event at Splashdown Quaywest on Saturday 11th July 2026, from 5:30pm–7:30pm!

Open to all club members, friends and family, this is one of our favourite events of the year. It's also a fantastic opportunity to bring along a friend who may be interested in joining the club and finding out what Paignton Swimming Club is all about.
