Another Busy and Successful Weekend at the Club!
What a fantastic weekend we’ve had at the club, with plenty going on both on and off the water.
The fun started with Play Your Cards Right, where our very own Sylvia came out on top and won! A big thank you to Keith for running the game and helping make it such an enjoyable evening for everyone.
On Saturday evening, we were entertained by Wishlist who had everyone in great spirits and helped create another lively social night at the club.
Sunday brought something new, with our first Club Walk proving to be a great success. It was wonderful to see members enjoying time together away from the clubhouse and making the most of the beautiful day. Alongside the walk, sailing was also in full swing, with five boats out on the water enjoying the conditions.
None of this would be possible without our amazing volunteers. Whether helping behind the bar, organising events, supporting sailing activities, or giving up their time in countless other ways, your efforts are hugely appreciated. Thank you to every single volunteer who helps keep the club running.
We’re also pleased to be delivering on ideas and requests put forward by members. The committee has listened to what was voted for and asked for, and we’re already seeing those plans come to life. The Club Walks are now underway, and we’re also looking forward to welcoming Southern Water to the club for a talk on Wednesday 24th June.
Looking Ahead
Paddlers – don’t forget that paddling sessions start this Wednesday, so we hope to see plenty of you there.
We also have a busy sailing weekend ahead, with the 18 Footers arriving at the club this coming weekend. We’re looking for volunteers to help either as crew or to helm the RIBs.

Volunteers will need to be at the club by 9:00am.
Don’t forget, the Sweepstake Reveal will take place on Sunday 7th at 1:00pm. Make sure you’re there to find out who you’ve drawn and join in the excitement!
And as if that wasn’t enough, we also have Western Line Dancing at the club this Saturday evening. With sailing, paddling, walks, talks, live entertainment, sweepstakes and line dancing, what more could you want?
Thank you again to everyone who continues to support the club. It’s fantastic to see so much happening, both socially and on the water, and it’s all thanks to the enthusiasm and commitment of our members. We look forward to seeing you at the club this week and over the coming weekend. ⛵🥾🤠🍻
