Tonight this absolute beaut of a track was added to our setlist and I am so here for it! I can’t get enough of Limp Bizkit since seeing them again at Download this year and the choreo for this track is EPIC! 🤘

First class of September so it’s back to school time! 📚

Here we are posing for our nice class photo. There’s always one class clown ruining the picture! 🙄😜

It’s so good to be back after a few weeks off. Our playlist contained some rock classics, a few of our fave tracks so far this year…and a whole lot of awesome tunes 🤘

A full month of rocking awaits us…and this month we celebrate 5 YEARS of Oxted RockFit classes 🥳 Our celebratory class will be on Tuesday 15th September 🥂

Join us tonight and every Tuesday at 7pm, Hazelwood Nursery School (as always, please PM for directions) for the most fun night of the week. RockFit is so much more than just an exercise class! 🤘

This post is going to need some context. Bear with…

My niece (pictured centre) used to insist I twerk with her when we visited her in SA over the years. Exhibit B is a picture she drew in 2015 of me twerking. The notes were left around the house to remind me to twerk with her 🫣

Fast forward 11 years and she’s in my RockFit class. Bowling For Soup is on…..and the role is reversed! 🙌 All’s fair in love and twerks! 🍑

Tonight was Kacy’s last RF class before she returns to sunny SA. It’s been such a joy to have her in my class these last few months. Here she sits, on her throne, tambourine crown in place. All hail Twerking-Queen Kacy of Johannesburg 👸

Kacy also chose a beaut of a playlist for her send-off including ace new track ‘Alive’ from P.O.D who we loved seeing at Download. Two ‘Alive’s in one class! 🔥

Such a fun class, thanks to everyone for such awesome energy.

Tonight we rock for the last time in August before a 2 week break. It is also my niece, Kacy’s, last class before she returns to South Africa next week (😭) so I’ve let her loose with the playlist! 🎸

It’s a joyful, bouncy, pop-punk inspired setlist full of feel-good summer vibes and it’s the perfect note to end on before a few weeks of rest 🤗

There were some seriously brain-taxing moves in this evening’s class…but this one (see ) from Chop Suey wasn’t one of them! 🙏↕️

Several tracks we haven’t done for a while which were great to bring back (Rebel Yell, Is There Anybody Out There? and Demons Are A Girl’s Best Friend) as well as the addition of the lush stretch track ‘My Sacrifice’ by the awesome Creed. I’ve loved this band for decades and it’s amazing to finally add them to the playlist 🫶

Shout out to these guys who absolutely nailed some super tough choreo tonight 👊 Legends 🤘🖤🤘

August dates are up! 🗓️

We rock for the first 2 weeks of August 🥳 Then there are 2 weeks off for a much-needed summer break before we pedal to the metal into September 🤘(during which, unbelievably, we will be celebrating 5 years of RockFit Oxted! 🎂🖤)

There’ll come a day in the not-too-distant future when the first thing I write 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴𝘯’𝘵 mention how ridiculously hot it is… but today is not that day. 🥵 It was an absolute inferno. Again. 🔥

That said, these guys rocked a fairly hefty setlist and smashed it out the park 👊

Two songs involved an excellent amount of pointing; When Worlds Collide and the epic new Skindred track, My People. What class isn’t made better with a bit of pointing?! 👆👇👉👈

This is not - or at least it definitely shouldn’t be - the playlist of an instructor who’s feeling a little under the weather 🤪

But I survived, nobody else died, and everyone made it through the class… so I’m calling that a win 😂

Tonight’s pose is a nod to our new Breaking Benjamin stretch track- and to the fact they were absolutely EPIC in London last Friday 🫶

That said… the track overlay had to be Slipknot (or at least it would be on FB if they hadn’t ruined the music function!). I’d already put Duality on the setlist before I stumbled across this meme earlier today. Some things are just meant to be🤘

What a treat it was watching these guys nail so much of the choreography tonight too. Legends 🖤
