It was a great game this afternoon, with some excellent bowls played by both teams. A big thank you to all the spectators who turned up to support and cheer everyone on. Team A put up a really good fight and battled hard right to the end, but sadly it wasn’t quite their day. Congratulations to Team B on a well-deserved win, and well played to everyone who took part! 🎉👏

🏆 WHAT A DAY AT WATLINGTON BOWLS CLUB! 🏆

Yesterday we held our Aussie Pairs Competition, an exciting all-day internal competition that got underway at 10:00am. It was a fantastic day of bowls, great company and plenty of competitive spirit. Unfortunately, the British weather decided to make an appearance, with some heavy rain making conditions rather challenging! 🌧️🌧️

But did that stop us? Absolutely not! 💪🎯
We ploughed on through the rain and, despite the conditions, managed to get the competition completed. A huge well done to everyone who took part for sticking with it and making it such an enjoyable day. 👏 A massive thank you to all the spectators who came along to support the players and help create a great atmosphere throughout the day.

🏆 Congratulations to our winners, Phill Potts & David Byers! 🏆

And commiserations to Gordon Ho**er & Carol Nall, who battled hard against Phill and David in the final. A great effort from both of you! 👏 Thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success another great day at Watlington Bowls Club! 💚🎯🏆
