COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

Introducing our Lead Women’s Coach, Ella Toa!

A former U23 World Champion for Great Britain and NCAA & Big Ten All-American, Ella brings a wealth of experience both on and off the water.

From international competition with GB and New Zealand to rowing at Rutgers University, Leander Club and Molesey, Ella has competed at the highest level.

As a coach, she has worked across university, school, club and national programmes, developing athletes from beginners through to senior international level.

We’re delighted to have Ella leading our women’s programme and can’t wait to see what’s ahead.

BROOKES RACE TO THREE PODIUM FINISHES AT European Universities Rowing Championship 2026 🇫🇷

The Women’s 8 kicked off the first race of the day repeating their performance in the prelim with a silver medal 🥈

The Men’s Four followed that up with a bronze medal 🥉

The Men’s Double raced in the B Final finishing second before they raced later in the Men’s 8.

The last race of the day for Brookes saw the Men’s Eight produce a back-to-back storming performance to win the gold medal 🥇

🏆 BROOKES athletes crowned U23 World Champions!

A huge congratulations to our Brookes athletes, who brought home three medals at the U23 World Championships.

Over 105 Brookes athletes competed at Henley Royal Regatta across student, intermediate and premier events last week.

Brookes had crews demonstrating tenacity from the get go. From crews racing from behind and rowing through to win their places in the next days competition, to demonstrating speed right up to finals day with an Oxford Brookes composite crew taking home the Grand, the depth and strength of our squad has been a staple in our performances this season.

We’ll see you for more next season 🇫🇷

GRAND CHALLENGE CUP WINNERS 2026

Congratulations to current Brookes athletes Sam, David and Tom on winning the Grand at Henley Royal Regatta.

These athletes, along with some of their Great Britain teammates representing their home clubs, have been a steadfast of the Brookes programme over the last decade and it is tremendous to see them continue to excel in the Premier events at the regatta.
