In Oxford this year and interested in playing volleyball? Come join trials for the 2024/25 season!

Combined women’s (W1/W2) and combined men’s (M1/M2) trials are on Oct. 9 at Iffley Road Sports Centre, with callbacks on Oct. 12.

There is also a development team for beginner players, or those wishing to improve their skills in a non-competitive environment, which does not require trials. For questions about development squad, email OUVC at [email protected] or DM us on Instagram at oxfordunivolleyball 🏐

We know that the love of volleyball doesn’t leave you after you leave the uni… so OUVC Alumni Cup is up this spring! Gather your fellow players, whether to rekindle that team spirit on court or just to spend a day having fun playing volleyball, this is your chance!

To enrol, sign up now using the link below before 20th May. You can form your own alumni team, or just arrive at the spot and make a new team with other attendees. A dinner will follow in the evening after the games. Join us for a day of sport, food, drinks, and friends!

We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting Volleyball cuppers in Trinity 🏐🎉

📣 Matches will be played at Iffley Sports Centre on either a Saturday morning or Sunday afternoon during Trinity - so be sure to keep these free!

Everyone is welcome to play regardless of ability. We hope everyone across the competitive & development teams will join in (& others if they’re interested)!

To register, each team must pay a £5 entry fee to enter. Please transfer to the following account (otherwise we can’t enter your team!):

There will be one competition and teams can be mixed. Only 6 players will be on court at a time but you can have more than 6 in your team for subs. Ideally, teams will be made up of people from the same college. If you can’t find enough people for your team but are keen to take part, message Bea Vicario Santos or Chloe Fox-Robertson and we will find you a team!

Congratulations to W2 for their performance in their final games of 2021🏐💙🤍

W2 won 2-1 against Oxford Falcons (15-25, 25-23, 15-12), although they narrowly lost 2-1 against (13-25, 25-15, 13-15). Spikeopaths beat Oxford Falcons in the third match. Thank you to both teams for two great matches 🤩
