Oxford University Ladies Golf Club is the home of the Dark Blue Ladies golf team at Oxford University. We attract golfers of all abilities and are always looking for girls to join the club. If you would like to find out more, do get in touch. Throughout the Michaelmas and Hilary terms, we participate in weekly fixtures. Our fixture list includes some of the best clubs in the UK, such as Rye, Royal

Cinque Ports, Sunningdale, Aldeburgh and the Berkshire. In addition we organise regular trainings with a professional coach, informal training sessions at the driving range and a wide range of social events throughout the year. The highlight of the season is the Varsity Match against Cambridge which is played at the end of Hilary term.

Congratulations to Oxford University Ladies’ Golf team for winning the 24th Ladies’ Varsity match at Aldeburgh GC. The result came to 5-4 after well-fought matches throughout the day, with Emma Sand birdying the 18th hole in the final singles match to clinch victory for Oxford!

Miranda Saunamaki

Miranda is a Bachelor of Civil Law Candidate (taught Master's degree) at the Oxford Faculty of Law, Lincoln College. She plays off 4 and has played plenty of university golf before, but this will be her first Varsity match. Her favourite time to play is during summer evenings of midnight sun in Finland.

Linda Lange

Linda is a third year law student from Germany studying for a one-year Diploma in Legal Studies at Christ Church. She plays off 7 and this will be her first Varsity. Since her last name resembles that of the famous German golfer Bernhard Langer, she’s been asked several times if he’s one of her relatives (unfortunately, he’s not).

Hannah is a 3rd year biologist at Jesus and is playing in her second Varsity Match. She once sent her electric golf trolley into a pond by accident during a competition.

Emma is a visiting student who is studying PPE at Mansfield College, Oxford this year. This is her first Varsity match, and she is excited to tee it up against Cambridge. Emma is originally from California where her home course is Cameron Park Country Club!

Amber is a 1st year undergrad studying biomedical science at Exeter College. She plays off 4 and having been in Dubai for the past 10 years she still doesn’t have any waterproofs!
