Oxford University Squash Racquets Club - OUSRC Shoeing Tabs on the squash court since 1925 Women’s varsity matches are believed to have commenced from the end of WW2.

Oxford University Squash Racquets Club (OUSRC) was founded in 1925, the year of the first recorded varsity match against Cambridge. For the last 20+ years, both men's and women's varsity matches have been held in February at the Royal Automobile Club in Pall Mall, London. The OUSRC is open to university students and staff as well as the wider community. We cater to competitive student players with

two men’s teams and two women’s teams which participate in the weekly BUCS fixtures against other universities, as well as a number of private fixtures against other clubs throughout the year. We have a "staff" team (which in fact comprises of more than just staff members) that participates in the local Oxfordshire leagues, giving non-squad players the chance to play competitively. We also cater towards casual players with weekly coached social sessions and club nights, and the option of participating in the club's social ladder and/or individual box leagues. The OUSRC also runs the inter-college squash leagues and Cuppers competitions.

The Centenary Varsity Match is right around the corner! We invite you to join us for a day filled with dazzling squash from our top players and a fiery atmosphere as Oxford and Cambridge battle it out once again at the RAC, Pall Mall!

Matches will start at 1pm, and dinner will start at around 7:30pm.

Dress code is smart (jacket, collared shirt, ladies equivalent).

After the success of our women's taster session last week, we have more social squash taster sessions this week and next week! Our usual Thursday clubnights (6-9pm) are back, these are drop-in sessions, so you can come and go as you wish. Our recruitment officer, Arundhati, is also running beginners' sessions on Thursdays, just before clubnight from 5pm till 6pm. We have racquets and balls to lend out, just please make sure to wear non-marking shoes on court.
