To all my dear adult dancers, pupils and loyal parents, I am writing to let you know that I have decided to retire at the end of this term. This has not been an easy decision, as you can imagine, but it is a final one, and it would help me very much if people could hold back from talking to me about it during working hours at the school, as I need to retain my professional composure and continue to teach your children, even though I actually feel quite emotional about this announcement. ...

Paula Nattrass and Vicky Jukes will be running a 4 day course over the summer entitled “Showstoppers” at St. Aloysius School (OX2 7PH), which is on the corner of St. Margarets Road and Woodstock Road in Oxford. The course is on from August 1st to 4th, will run from 10am to 4pm and is suitable for those born between 2009 and 2017....

Well here we are at the start of the autumn term. I hope you've had a most enjoyable summer, not that it's been particularly sunny or warm. The new Timetable, RAD Ballet Uniform, ISTD Modern and Jazz Uniform, ISTD Tap Uniform and Uniform order form are now available for you to view and/or download. The Friday night classes with Segolene are now back at the United Reformed Church Hall in Summertown and start on September 10th and run through until December 17th....

Welcome to the start of the autumn 2021 term. All classes, including the Friday night ones are back to normal and in person.

The course aims to create an active and fun environment for the student to build on their confidence, maintain a sense of performance and creativity and have lots of dancing fun!. We will explore dance style through musical theatre films, create theatrical pieces with poetry and work on our PERFORMANCE skills through drama games and activities....

Our summer course 'A Medley of Dance Styles' looked a little different this year, and involved A LOT of handwashing and fresh air, but we still had a great time! Some of the things we did were learning some street jazz to 'Salute' by Little Mix, a dance to 'Footloose', a disco style dance to 'Night Fever' and even made up our own TikTok craze.
Whilst we would normally do a live performance to family and friends, we instead filmed our pieces and learnt all about camera angles when filming!
Thank you to the students for being fabulous, and to Vicky Jukes for all her help teaching!

Unfortunately the URC Hall has been closed with immediate effect, therefore the Friday URC classes with Segolene have to be cancelled until further notice.
