Pembroke College Boat Club

Pembroke College Boat Club One of the largest and most successful college boat clubs in Oxford. PCBC is one of the leading Oxford College Boat Clubs.

With their men's 1st VIII as the current holders of the 2016 Torpids Headship, and women's 1st VIII at 2nd on the river in the 2016 Summer Eights campaign, PCBC not only has a wealth of university squad rowers, but also a breadth of lower boats. The club had the most VIII's on the river for 2016 Summer VIII's. PCBC's M2 pride themselves for a stellar 2016 Torpids campaign, in which they fought to become the highest M2 on the river, bringing two PCBC men's boats into Division One ( ). Pembroke's best year to date was 2003 when the college claimed the Double Headship under clear blue skies and set about burning boats with abandon. (For photos see the album titled '2003'). W1 achieved another headship in 2012, and have fought Wadham for Head of the River for two consecutive years in a row. PCBC are proud to have some of their senior women rowers trialling for Great Britain over the next season.

In a great start to the rowing season, PCBC’s O4+ left CORC Regatta today as champions! 💪🌸🩷

The crew started off with a comfortable win against a masters Upper Thames boat, before beating Dart Totnes by only a canvas in the last 400m of the second race. Lastly in the final against Hertford we extended our lead off the start, heading to a comfortable win and a great end to the day.
