I’ve wanted to take yoga outdoors for such a long time, and I’m so excited to finally make it happen.
Hillend Outdoor Education Centre is a beautiful setting surrounded by trees, open fields, and wildlife, with plenty of parking available. Together with Jo, who also works at Hillend, we’ve decided to take the plunge and create a special day of wellbeing in the woodland.
We’ll begin by meeting at the car park before setting off on a gentle nature walk up to the woodland. Along the way, we’ll take time to notice the plants around us, learning a little about their qualities and connection to wellbeing.
Once we arrive at the woodland circle, we’ll enjoy gentle yoga, mindfulness, and forest bathing, giving ourselves the chance to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with nature.
To finish the day, we’ll gather around the fire, relax together, and enjoy a warm cup of tea.
