Moortown Elite 7s 🏉
🚗 A long trip to North Leeds yesterday for the Moortown Elite 7s. While the day didn't quite live up to expectations off the pitch, the lads stayed focused and made the most of it.
🔥 We started strongly with convincing wins over two local sides before coming up against a well-drilled, physical Cleveland Cougars team. Unfortunately, we picked up three serious injuries during the game, ruling those players out for the rest of the tournament.
The biggest positives were the character, togetherness and resilience shown by the squad, along with the lads who stepped in at the last minute to pull on the shirt.
Despite the setbacks, we battled our way to the final and gave it everything.
