Oxford Brookes University Basketball

Oxford Brookes University Basketball Under our head coach, the former Great Britain captain, Ken Walton, Brookes’ basketball teams have risen up both the national and student leagues.

Our men’s team has repeatedly reached the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS, previously BUSA) Final Eight Championship, and competes in England Basketball’s National League. Our ladies’ team plays in BUCS and the Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Local League. In 2009 Oxford Brookes University fielded Mens 1st & 2nd Team, Womens 1st Team and Mens Division 3 National League Team

Got lots of people signing up for Basketball on Wednesday!
Just in case you missed the fair, haven't received and email or forgotten the info of trials here it is!

Trials for Mens 1st and 2nd team tomorrow Saturday 19th, 1pm-4pm at brookes sport.

Trials for Womens team are also tomorrow Saturday 19th 11am-12:30/1pm at brookes sport.

Make sure to come along, people are also welcome to watch!

Amy and Olivia from the Women's team are running/dribbling 200 miles (each!) in 100 days to raise money for the local wheelchair basketball club and they've almost finished! Please donate if you can! https://fundrazr.com/campaigns/5plp4/ab/a3pKHe

The two Oxford Eagles coaches, Amy and Olivia, are both running 200 miles in 100 days (1st July-8th October) whilst dribbling a basketball in order to raise funds for new chairs and sports hall hire!
