It’s been a busy few days here! Rebound Therapist training, lots of fun 1:1 sessions, gentle moves sessions, some AMAZING birthdays and cheering on 400+ runners at the Headington Road Runners 5 Mile Race.

Back in February, we shared a video of Izzy standing on the trampoline for the very first time. Since then, she’s continued to work incredibly hard.

Here’s a look at how far she’s come over the past few months. Watch as her confidence grows, from learning to bounce on the trampoline to taking supported steps on the floor.

At OXSRAD, we’re passionate about breaking down barriers to movement, creating opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to build confidence, develop skills and discover what they’re capable of.

It’s a privilege to support journeys like Izzy’s and to see so many people discover what they’re capable of.

Our yoga sessions bring people together to move, imagine, stretch and unwind.

Storytelling Yoga uses adventures, games and yoga poses to make movement fun and engaging, while our Saturday Relaxation Yoga sessions offer a calm space to stretch, breathe and reset with gentle movement, calming music and sensory elements.

It’s just one of the many ways we create inclusive opportunities for people of all ages and abilities here at OXSRAD.

We run both Storytelling Yoga and Relaxation Yoga throughout the summer holidays. If you’d like to come along and join in, we’d love to welcome you.

Our Mini’s SEND Boxercise sessions are designed for children aged 6–12 years, offering a fun way to get moving, build confidence and make new friends in small, supportive groups.

While it’s used for many of our OXSRAD sessions, it’s also available to book in 1-hour slots throughout the summer and year round. Whether you need a calm space to relax, regulate, play or simply take some time out, our sensory room is here for you.

Looking for inclusive activities this summer?

At OXSRAD, we provide accessible activities designed to remove barriers for children, young people and adults with disabilities and additional needs, while welcoming parents, carers, siblings and friends to take part too. We believe activities should bring people together, giving everyone the opportunity to participate side by side.

We know the summer holidays can be challenging, particularly when trying to find activities that everyone can enjoy together. That’s why we’ve created a programme full of opportunities to stay active, meet new people and have fun in a welcoming and supportive environment.
