We were saddened recently to hear the news of Mary Middleton’s passing . Mary was a well known local and great supporter of the Club over the years , and was of course the wife of the late Ron Middleton , who was heavily involved with local football and big supporter of the Club.

On behalf of Alan the President , Rob the Chairman and all committee /club members, we’d like to pass on our condolences to all the family. Our love and thoughts are with you all.

TODAY! Garsington Craft Fair 1pm-4pm!

We’re all set up and ready to go!

Bar is open for refreshments, picnic benches are out to enjoy the sunshine!☀️

Today is the day of our summer craft fair! And what a beautiful day it is set to be. 🌞 Doors open to the public from 1 to 4pm, free entry and everyone welcome. Please come and show your support to our local stallholders 💚 there will also be a raffle and refreshments available, seating available inside and outside.

I’M AT THE GARSINGTON CRAFT FAIR! 🍰✨
This weekend I’ll be setting up my stall at the Garsington Craft Fair – Summer Edition! ☀️🌸
I’ll be bringing along lots of delicious homemade treats, including:
🍰 Cake Pots
🍪 Cookies
🍫 Brownies
🤍 Blondies
✨ And plenty more!
So if you’re out and about this weekend, come along, pop by my stall and treat yourself!

Another big weekend coming up at the Club.

Saturday it’s our cricketers penultimate match in another very successful season, starting around 1.00pm

Also our new under 8’s side are making their debut with a 12.00pm kick off followed by a signing on session in the main bar. All welcome with the bar open from approximately 1.00pm onwards.

Sunday we’re hosting the summer craft fair from 1.00pm until 4.00pm . Plenty of local traders exhibiting their goods and all complimented with a bar serving hot and cold drinks. All welcome , bring your family and friends and support your local Club .

Join us this upcoming Sunday (6th September) for the Garsington Craft Fair!

A summer special event, raising funds for Sobell House and new equipment for the Sports Club. 💚

Hall open from 1–4pm, come and discover a range of handmade crafts from local talented makers.

With free onsite parking, free entry and the bar open for refreshments, it’s the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

It’s Super Saturday!!

Your eyes won’t know which way to look from 1.00pm…….Football……..Cricket………BAR 🍺🍺🍷🍷🍾🍾

Come down and cheer our sides on with a chilled drink and enjoy this sunshine, before that long winter appears.

What else is happening down the lane?

September 6th 1.00pm until 4.00pm we’re hosting a craft fair with plenty of stall holders exhibiting their homemade crafts, teas and coffees plus bar drinks available on the day.

We’ve got darts and pool nights starting up again so keep an eye out for opening times for those, but mainly Wednesday to Friday inclusive.

Plans are underway to sort another silent disco night, proved very popular last time , so keep your eyes out for that date definitely, but this side of , can I say it, Christmas ! That also means we’ll have the annual Christmas Fair , probably at the end of November, so again watch this space!

In the meantime , have a great weekend everyone, would be great to see you later today! Did I say the bar was open??

Tomorrow’s final pre season game against strong opposition , so along with the Cricket lads in action, it’s another “Super Saturday”

Bar open from approx 1.00pm onwards.

What’s on update!

With the cricket season in to its last few weeks our team are in action Saturday afternoon at home from approx 1.00pm onwards, as they look to consolidate their strong league position in the top three.

We are also well underway with our men’s football pre season matches . They will also be in action from 1.00pm kick off on the main pitch.

So, it’s a Super Saturday at the Club with the bar open throughout the afternoon from 1.00pm

Sunday our attention moves to a new social afternoon, aptly named “Publympics”
The event takes place from 12.00pm onwards and will involve having a go at a series of in house club sports , from Darts,Pool to Aunt Sally etc This is a Club fundraiser put on by the Cricket section and entry , to take part, is £10 per player, which includes your first drink on the house!

If you want to register your name , please post on here and we’ll get you added to the list. Please feel free to bring your own equipment , or if you don’t have any , there will be standard sets available to use!

Please share on and also note you’re all welcome to just come down for a drink and watch any activities you so wish, or just sit outside and enjoy the views.
