No previous martial arts experience is needed.

🥋 Meet Sensei Izzy 🥋

Izzy’s karate journey began at age four alongside her brother, leading to her black belt at fifteen. Driven by a passion for sport karate, she trained and competed across Europe, ultimately earning the honor of representing England on the World and European championship stages.

After achieving her 2nd Dan in 2022, Izzy channeled her experience into teaching and launched her own classes. Nothing brings her more joy than watching her students master new skills, build resilience, and grow in confidence.

Outside the dojo, Izzy is a dedicated personal trainer at Health Squared in Cowley, where she helps clients crush their fitness goals. Having navigated major physical setbacks—including tearing both ACLs and enduring five knee surgeries—she brings extraordinary grit, empathy, and firsthand knowledge of injury recovery to every coaching session.

Whether teaching traditional karate or personal training, Izzy is committed to helping people become the best version of themselves—in sport, fitness, and everyday life.
