OGKK-UKは、菊川先生がOGKK沖縄剛柔流空手道協会の新会長に就任されたことを、喜びと敬意を込めてお祝い申し上げます。
The 2026 General Assembly of the Okinawa Goju-Ryu Karatedo Association marked a pivotal moment for our organization, and we are pleased to share its key highlights. Koei Teruya Sensei, our esteemed long-time President, has been honoured with the title of Honorary President and recognized as a holder of the "Okinawa Karate and Kobujutsu," a Prefectural Designated Intangible Cultural Property, reflecting his unwavering commitment to the art. Following his tenure, Masanari Kikugawa Sensei has stepped into the role of President, where he underscored the critical need to preserve the katas handed down from our founder, Chojun Miyagi Sensei, through Ei'ichi Miyazato Sensei and Koshin Iha Sensei, ensuring their integrity for future generations. In closing, Vice President Koki Sensei delivered a heartfelt message about the familial bond among members of the Okinawa Goju-Ryu Karatedo Association, urging everyone to prioritize each other's well-being and mutual support as we advance together. At OGKK-UK group, we remain dedicated to upholding these traditions and fostering a spirit of unity in our learning and training.
沖縄剛柔流空手道協会の2026年総会は、当協会にとって極めて重要な節目となりました。その主な成果を皆様にお伝えできることを嬉しく思います。長年にわたり当協会の会長を務めてこられた輝屋光栄先生には、名誉会長の称号が授与され、また、沖縄県指定無形文化財である「沖縄空手と古武術」の保持者として認定されました。これは、先生の空手道に対する揺るぎない貢献を称えるものです。菊川正成先生は、前任の会長職を退任し、創始者である宮城長順先生から宮里栄一先生、伊波幸信先生へと受け継がれてきた型を、後世に伝えるために、その完全性を維持することの重要性を強調しました。最後に、副会長の幸樹先生は、沖縄剛柔流空手道協会の会員間の家族のような絆について心温まるメッセージを述べ、共に前進していく中で、互いの幸福と相互支援を最優先にするよう呼びかけました。OGKK-UKグループは、これらの伝統を守り、学びと稽古において一体感を育むことに引き続き尽力してまいります。
