Great day for Overton Bowling Club hosting the Lancaster League Trophy. Three semi finalists, runner up and winner.

Lots of folk from the bowling club helping out at the coffee morning in aid of St John’s Hospice this morning. If you are around, please pop in to say hello and have some delicious cakes and a brew.

Thanks to your fabulous support we are close to achieving our target through crowdfunder; we have £7020 pledged so far. This week we are pleased to feature a new reward. First come first served for a £25 or more donation you can enjoy a meal for 2 at the amazing Ship Hotel from the pub classics. We’ve also revised the price points of some other rewards so please have a browse.

We want to create a first class bowling green for our community and we desperately need a new equipment store.

Thanks for your fantastic support! We are now at £6420 towards our target of £7500 and we are pleased to offer a fantastic new reward. For a £75 donation you can claim a guided tour of the historic village by the sea, Sunderland Point with tea and cakes at the mission.
