Overton Cricket Club A village-based community cricket club located in North Hampshire

We are based in the centre of the village at the ORC grounds in Bridge Street, offering youth and senior cricket, as well as ECB All Stars, & from 2022, W10 Women's soft ball cricket. We welcome players of all abilities, age, gender and race, with an emphasis on enjoyment in a friendly environment.

The team played their first game in the new colours on Sunday and got the win to mark the occasion. A perfect debut!

The kit (photos to follow!) gets it's next outing tonight in The Hampshire Slam as The Overton Originals take on The Oakley Outlaws at Berrydown. The match starts at 6pm and you can watch live on our YouTube Channel!

As the sun sets on our W10 tour to Spain, we reflect on what a weekend for our teams. It was cricket that bought these ladies together and it is now friendship that binds them together. What an experience, with the overriding emotion of fun. In a world that can feel very serious at times, fun is the best tonic for sure. Our ladies leave with their heads held high having played some great cricket against some competitive teams.

To quote a player "who knew when I turned up to that very first training session in 2022, 4 years later I'd be here in Spain with 15 other amazing ladies - how lucky am I"

LIVE AT THE ORC BRIDGE STREET FROM 1PM

This season there will be a home game at The ORC Bridge Street every Saturday afternoon. This has been made possible by all of the hard work done by our Grounds team over the winter and is another step forward for the club.

Whilst our W10 teams, who are currently on Tour in Almería, are Buying Local by clearing out the local shops of their Rosé supplies, back here in Overton we are also buying local….Turners Butchers continue to supply all of our meat for our BBQ’s (Allstars) and The Village Refillery Overton will now be supplying our bar with a selection of bar snacks & sweets.
