OTCC WEEKEND LINEUPS 🏏
With rain round this weekend, we’ll be keeping fingers crossed for cricket 🤞
The 1st XI are set to take on this Saturday, following their win last week. Alfie Sullivan has another 1st XI appearance alongside Will Park, who takes the place of David Foster. Skipper Mark Hodgson will no doubt look to continue leading from the front after his 5-wicket haul last week against the strong Stony side. Best of luck lads 💪
The 2nd XI face away this week. In form Sameer Shah will look to continue his flow of runs today, as the 2s work to bounce back following last week’s hard-fought match against Bowden ultimately ended in defeat. Fingers crossed the rain stays at bay!
The 3rd XI have already had their game cancelled due to rainfall rendering the pitch and ground not suitable for use. Arnie Gough fans (in their endless masses) will have to wait until Sunday before they get their fix of the golden arm.
The Sunday 1st XI are in a top of the table clash this week against , looking to make it SIX wins on the bounce. With a strong side and several in form players, captain Gavin Clay will likely be urging for more of the same - especially with Overseas Johan Van Dyk in the squad, alongside youngsters Freddie and Alfie. And if all else fails, prolific all-rounder Arnie Gough can step in and save the day - with some cricketing ‘ability’ or alternatively, a tasteful rain dance.
