🔥 OTTERY NETBALL CLUB – TRAINING 🔥

Want to get back into netball or give it a go for the first time?
Come and train with us in a fun, welcoming environment 💛

You may have noticed a lack of match updates from us recently, and we wanted to explain why.

Unfortunately, the Exeter League has experienced ongoing issues with the courts we play on, which has led to all fixtures being cancelled since our last match on 9 January.

We’ve also now been informed that, despite us currently sitting top of the division with a game in hand, the league has decided there will be no promotion or relegation this season. This means the season has effectively come to an early end.

We are absolutely gutted by this decision. The ONC team have worked incredibly hard week in, week out to put themselves in a strong position at the top of the table, so for the season to finish this way is hugely disappointing.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support — we’ll share any further updates as soon as we have them.

The Flaming Barrels had their first match of 2026

And what a match it was

A great game, superb gameplay and they hit 2026 with a nice hefty win

The team played so well several votes for players player went to the whole team but Kelly beat the team vote to get the win for Players Player

Last game before the Christmas break

A full squad of players meaning we could utilise the players and switch on/off

This game was a challenging game, and the team had to dig deep each quarter, a very close match and the final result was 27-22 to Flaming Barrels

Keeping our winning streak and 9/10 matches won

Well done to both ladies

We stay at the top of the table for Christmas with a match in hand!

We faced a tough side who have been in the League for several years, and a team we needed to try and win against to remain at the top of the table

The team worked really hard throughout the whole match and came away with a win

46-35

Our 8/9 win, sitting at top of the table with a game in hand

Admittedly this was a tough match and was far from easy against a very tough competitive team

There was only a 1 goal difference on one qtr but the team pushed and came away with the win

A really great friendly game against a nice opposition

Flaming Barrels started from the 1st qtr on fire and proceeded the whole way through each qtr, fast paced at times but never dropping a qtr, saw us go away with another win
