I'm not a mountain biker. Why should I care?

-If you're passionate about keeping Ottery as a remote, sceneic town, you might rather a bike park over more houses. Or maybe, you are a parent of children and you wish to encourage them to get off the X-box and enjoy the outdoors. This is a safe place that they would be sure to enjoy. If none of these apply to you, maybe you want to keep the mountain bikers in one place and the rest of the public in another. In other words, a bike park would stop people from building illegal trails, getting in your way whilst out on a walk, riding street etc.
This is a truely benfifical project for all in the local area. Join the fight

What kind of bike park will it be?
- It will be mainly a progressive jump park like Exeter Bike Park however, there will be features for younger riders and beginners.

- The park will be built in Ottery St Mary. We can't specify where as we don't have the land yet.

Council Spending 50K on play site refurbishments. Let's try and direct some of their budget towards the bike park. We are not looking at much here. In an Email the council stated they support our views but don't have the land. If that's true, let's allocate some money to buy some.

Quick word to the residents of Ottery. We are aware of the tension MTB can cause at the moment. We don't condone building of illegal trails, trespassing, putting the public in danger due to nearby bikes, or any nuisance. We simply need a safe place to ride to avoid all of this. We appreciate your understanding
