🏆 We have a winner! 🏆
Firstly, a HUGE THANK YOU to every child who took part in our Water Safety Poster Competition. We were blown away by the creativity, effort and important water safety messages included in all of the entries!
A massive thank you also to Whartons Primary School, Ashfield Primary School, Westgate Primary School and St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School for supporting this initiative and helping us spread such an important message throughout our community ahead of the summer holidays! ☀️ 🏊♀️
After lots of voting, we’re delighted to announce that the winning school is...
🏆 St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School 🏆
🎉 Congratulations to Niamh and Piper (Year 5), whose joint poster design has been selected as our winning entry!
We loved their creativity, the effort that went into their design and, most importantly, the powerful message behind it. Their poster did a fantastic job of highlighting such an important topic.
Well done to both girls – you should be very proud of yourselves! 👏
We’ll be popping down to the school early next week to present the winning prize hamper, and St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School will receive £500 off their next primary school swimming lesson invoice.
Thank you again to everyone who took part and helped raise awareness of water safety. The standard of entries was fantastic, and most importantly, thousands of people have been talking about water safety, Float to Live and how to stay safe around water this summer.
We’re now looking forward to having Piper’s winning design professionally printed and displayed within our swim school and local community settings, helping to continue spreading this important water safety message throughout the summer months!
