Week 14 of Marathon Training!! 🏃🏼‍♀️🤩✨🧘‍♀️💪🏻🍃

The days are counting down until I run my first marathon!!

This week’s training has felt strong, and contrast therapy has really helped with recovery. Feeling proud of the progress and everything that’s gone into getting here! The early mornings, the long runs, and the consistency along the way.

It’s starting to feel real now. Excited, a little nervous, but mostly just ready to get to that start line and see what we can do!

Week 13 of Marathon Training🏃🏼‍♀️🤩🫶🏻🧘‍♀️✨💪🏻!!

What a week!! Still feeling the effects of 20 miles on Sunday, completely exhausted but made self-care a priority with two contrast therapy sessions, some proper rest days, and light weight training to keep things ticking over.

Ended the week on a high with a trip to London to watch my mum absolutely smash the London Marathon 🏃‍♀️!🤩

2 weeks till the big day!😬😁

Week 12 of Marathon Training🏃🏼‍♀️🤩🧘‍♀️💪🏻✨!!!

What a week! Longest run completed and now we taper as the race gets closer… 32km tested everything, ran Headingley back to Otley and pretty much ALL the way up Leeds Road. It was so tough but so glad we did to see how well feel on the actual day!

Very proud of myself today, never thought in a million years I would ever run this far! ROLL ON 10TH OF MAY!🤩

Week 11 of Marathon Training🧘‍♀️🤩✨🏃🏼‍♀️💪🏻!!!

This week I have been so tired and wiped out… 30km long run on the weekend followed by a late night bank holiday Sunday… oops😅 the week has been off plan but we got back on track!

4 weeks till the big day… the next long run is the big one 32km from Headingley to Otley, which will be the last long run then we taper! We got this!💪🏻

Running, gym & Pilates as usually! Completed my longest run ever… and it was so HARD😂 but we smashed it! Celebrated Easter weekend with friends eating good food, Easter eggs and maybe drinking some wine😅 let’s have another good week🤩💪🏻!!
