An amazing turnout from our A8 squad tonight. Parkhall 5k by is a brilliantly organised local event. Plenty of pbs and unmatched support. Four walls don’t make a gym it’s the people inside that make this place special. Thanks to all our amazing members that make this possible A8️⃣❤️

Drumroll please… 🥁

“Summer, summer, summertime…” ☀️
Time to sit back… and… nah — get outside and train 😏

The outdoor astroturf is officially BACK.

Yeah, it took us a minute to clear up after the new treadmills dropped (worth it though 👀)…
But we’ve gone all in on it:

→ Fully cleaned
→ Checked top to bottom
→ No hidden nasties underfoot

And we’ll be on this every single week to keep it sharp.

Quick update for all Active8 members 📢

The treadmill is finally back up and running 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️
It clearly needed a little Christmas breather after the Hyrox pounding it’s had throughout 2025!

Huge apologies it took so long to fix — the timing was pretty awful with engineers needed to diagnose the issue and then return to sort it properly. Frustrating, but we got there in the end.

To avoid ever being down to just one motorised treadmill again, we’re adding a third treadmill to the gym.

Good news as well — the Stairmaster console has been fixed, and you’ll notice a brand new screen on that too 👀

As always, we’re trying to move things forward and work with you. With Hyrox clearly here to stay, we’d love your input.

Some small additions to the Gym as strive to continue improving Active8 and our members experience.

Plan some well earned post event Recovery wiyh the new Dynamic Air Compression Boots or Prime those muscles pre workout with one of the Massage/Activation Guns including contrast temprature technology.

Either are free for you to utilise and pretty self explanatory, but we will post instructions for anybody that may need them soon .

We can't wait to see you all back in the New Year. We hope you are having a fantastic festive season so far .
