⚽️ Good session on the Cae Glas Park Astro Turf for our Parkinson’s Walking Football this morning.

🗓️ Walking Football is on every Tuesday (11:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m) in term-time.

It is open to all adults aged 16 and over, so come down for a gentle kick-about.

Due to a European fixture at Park Hall, this week and the following week, our Walking Football session on Thursday at 8-9pm will not be going ahead.

Good Afternoon,

Hope this email finds you all well,
I recently had a Zoom meeting with the Committee from the Wales Walking Football Federation and other team representatives from Welsh clubs who are currently playing in the Wales Walking Football leagues.

We have been asked if there is potentially enough interest amongst the group to put 1 or 2 teams together to play fixtures against other Teams in the NORTH WALES division.

There are 1 of 3 qualifying age groups you can represent.

Over 50s
Over 60s
And Over 70s.

I'm just putting the feelers out to see if there is enough interest or numbers to possibly enter a team or 2?.

This is obviously Covid dependable on when the leagues can start.

We need to confirm by mid February at the latest if we are interested in entering.

Good Morning

As you're probably aware from last night's announcement we have unfortunately had to suspend the restart of Our Walking Football Session untill further notice.

On the plus side though it gives us all a little more time to get a bit fitter and burn some Turkey by getting out the house and practice your Walking (though I know some of you prefer a Jog 😉! )

I will send an email out to those participants who are not on this group and will send a couple of ravens for those who 'don't do computers'!

Stay safe and well and hopefully see you all in the not too distant future.
