‘Still without power.’ We are hearing that more often. Customer up towards the lake are still without power. “Genny working great thanks for bringing it.” Normally our diesel generator powers the conveyor belts, but currently powering water pumps, heating pumps, as well as Tv, router and most importantly: a kettle.

Cold week, warmer next.

Here at TVF HQ we rely wholly on Tanat Valley Firewood to keep us warm, dry our clothes and clean our bodies.

It’s the family home of four with enough bedrooms and bathrooms to have one each.

We don’t want to use oil for environmental and geopolitical considerations, relying more on local networks, built up over decades living in the Tanat Valley.

Please get in touch if you’d like to hear more about heating your home with firewood. We us a 23kw log burner to heat a thermal store with a heat exchanger. So when the shower is turned on, a pump in the Nine O’clock Water Shed up the hill detects a drop in pressure and pumps water back down the hill. It passes through the heat exchanger and falls on my heat at 39degrees. Magic.

You’re right, we do burn a lot of logs, but we don’t have an oil bill. Mrs. Patrick is a smart cookie and buys her logs in the Spring, saving 12.5%, she has a huge log burner so managed to negotiate a discount on larger logs that take less processing. She knows TVF’s yard is only down the road so managed to negotiate a further discount based on transport savings. She also pays monthly, which is also an option.

So she’s a warm cookie as well as a smart cookie.

Mums the word. This is my old van. I’ve had it three years and today it passed its MOT first time at the local garage. It cost me three grand and with a MOT it’s probably still worth two. I’ve delivered a quarter of a million pounds of firewood in it and its never let me down, apart from the time it ran out of diesel!
