🚨𝗢𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗧𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗘🚨

We are now able to confirm that we will be entering our Reserve team into the Pennine League for the 24/25 season.

We will be training every Thursday, starting this week down at Tiger Park.

Tonight’s the night!!

We will be running two tournaments simultaneously, 501 Knockout Tournament and a 501 Pairs Tournament.

Winner of the 501 singles will get 10 pints, with the winners of the doubles will get 5 pints each.

Please note that the time has changed and we will be starting earlier, please meet for 5pm for a 5.30pm start!

This week is Mental Health awareness week.

This month is important to raise awareness and speak up.

💚 1 in 5 people have suicidal thoughts
💚 1 in 14 people self-harm
💚 1 in 15 people attempt su***de.
💚 1 in 5 young people (age 13-18) has or will develop a mental illness in their lifetime.
💚 Depression is the leading cause of disability worldwide.

Common signs of mental health issues include: extreme mood swings, changes in eating habits, excessive worrying or fear, problems concentrating, and avoiding friends or social activities.

Remember it’s ok not to be ok! 💚

Jayden Covell & Dan Geddes are running a Referees course at Ossett on 1st May.

Can you please get it round any friends/family, if you are part of the club, please spread the word. We are currently short of officials and we need to grow our numbers.

It’s the first time in 2 years that he hasn’t been able to cover all games in the Yorkshire Men’s League.

Juniors, each week we can’t cover all games at the moment either.

If they can’t make the 1st May, there is one end of May at Oulton too 👍🏻
