Don’t shoot the messenger

The YRFU have now increased our league to 12 teams.

We now have Keighley RUFC 2’s and Dinnington RUFC 2’s in the league.

Hopefully this is the final post on this matter 🤞😂❤️🤍🖤

📢 NEW HEAD COACH ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

Ossett Rugby Club is delighted to welcome Mark Pearson as our new Head Coach.

Mark brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success. During his time at QEGS, he helped lead the 1st XV to a National Final at Twickenham, while at Selby RUFC he enjoyed success as both a Head Coach and Director of Rugby, including back-to-back Yorkshire Colts Cup victories and guiding the 1st XV through promotions into the Regional Leagues.

There is real excitement about the future at Ossett, and Mark’s appointment is another important step as we continue to build on strong foundations and drive the club forward.

🏉 *CLUB NEWS*

Today we announce that Simon Betty has stepped down from his role as Head Coach.

On behalf of everyone at Ossett Rugby Club, I want to thank Betty for his commitment, passion and dedication to the club. His influence has extended far beyond the rugby field, having a huge impact on my own life and the lives of many others across the club.

Betty has made lifelong friends at Ossett and leaves with our full support as he takes on a new challenge. While he is stepping away from the coaching role, we’re delighted that he will remain involved with the club and continue to be part of the Ossett family.

Thank you, Betty, for everything you have given to the club. We wish you every success in your next chapter.

Huddersfield 2’s and Cleckheaton 2’s are no longer in the league
In come Pontefract 2’s and Old Brodleians 2’s.

Jack has been a huge part of the club for many years, and we're excited to see him take on this important position. We have no doubt he will achieve great success in his new role, and we're thrilled to have him leading the rugby side of the club into an exciting future.

Lots of old friends to visit and welcome.
In and amongst the 10 teams in the league we have three 2nd teams to challenge for honours. ❤️🤍🖤
