STRETCH, RELEASE AND RELAX - MINI MORNING RETREAT

Hi all,

I'm so excited!! The Stretch, Release and Relax Class has had a little upgrade to become a mini morning retreat.

I have the room booked from 9am-11am and here's what i have planned:

Saturday 19th October 9.15-10.45 main class, with optional extra time before and after.

8.50-9.10 ish an optional mini walk in the woods to walm up and wake up! (Option to stay in the room if not)

9.10 Welcome drinks on offer (healthy juice shot)

9.15 - 10.45 Class time

10.45-11.00 A warm herbal tea to finish, (a yummy sneaky treat too!) wake up and come back around

And a mini retreat gift from me to enjoy.

In the class we will focus on;

-breath work: intentionally changing your breathing patterns to improve mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing, with a view to deepening your body and breath connection, boosting energy and immunity.

-movements: moving your whole body gently to warm all of your muscles ready to release them more deeply. We will do a mixture of pre Pilates and gentle Garuda and Yoga movement patterns. Moves will be slow and are suitable for everyone.

-stretching: once warmed up we can then work in to some deep stretches, the aim is to work through the whole body with a particular focus on low back and hips.

-Relax: the best bit! And sometimes the hardest bit! A short guided meditation to start with and a nice long relax for your body and mind to completely rest. Blanket, pillows, eye masks and cushions will be provided so that you can really get comfortable.

I will provide everything that you will need for class but you are welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer, or extra blankets (especially if you are tall apparently mine are a bit short!)

You will need:

-Warm socks and wear layers - especially on your legs for safe stretching.
-If you want to join in the mini woodland walk then bring suitable shoes/coats.
-If you have any food allergies or dietry requirements etc let me know as i want to provide a yummy treat.
-I will provide a herbal tea too for afterwards if you have any preference or if you just hate a certain one then let me know that as well. I will bring a selection.
-The welcome drink will be a homemade fruit and herb juice shot, apple based.

I'm offering this to those currently in classes with me first, today until 5pm, Monday. Then tonight I will open it out to everyone else on the mailing list and to the public.

Due to the restricted numbers in the venue and the early bird offering unfortunatly there won't be any refunds or credits avaliable for this event.
It might be possible to transfer your ticket to another person but only with prior consultation with me.
As always, in the event of any comunicable illness of yourself or anyone in your home please let me know as soon as possible and I will try my best to help find a solution if and where possible.

🍁 🍂 exciting news! The monthly Stretch, Release and Relax class is back by popular demand!

And it’s even bigger and better than before - so no longer just a class but a whole mini morning retreat so that you can fully let go of all your tension from both mind and body.

I honestly can not wait so please watch out over the next few days for updates as I will be confirming the venue very soon for the first event coming in September 👏🏻🧘🏼‍♀️

Space will be limited and early booking is always advised as it’s always a popular event. 🍁🍂

-classes are Pilates on a traditional mat using small equipment, including a barrel, magic circle and handheld weights.

Hi all I’ve mentioned to a lot of you about doing a December stretch/relax mind and body class (I’ve so missed them!)

It will include some Yoga/stretching/breathing exercises and relaxation with lavender bags, blankets, pillows, props etc and candles. I usually do these for 1.5 hours.

I’m just trying to gauge numbers so I know what size room to hire (I’ll keep it as local as possible) so if you’re definitely interested let me know and also let me know what dates you can/can’t do I’m thinking it’ll be in the week before Christmas so anytime from the 15th to the 22nd - I can do evenings including the Friday and anytime that weekend if we all need a Sat/Sunday chill session I don’t mind at all. If you can let me know in the next few days I can get a venue booked in.

I have 1-1 and duet availability next week for those wanting them, wanting extra, missing group classes during the summer and the 1-1’s are ESPECIALLY good for those who want to start with me in September to get a good idea of what we do in class and for us to get to know each other first: just gives you a really strong place to jump off from come September.

I have a few options/packages for new starters that is available so if you’re interested in that drop me a message and let’s get you started! 👍🏼💪🏼

👋🏼 Hi all just sat doing my final planning for the autumn and winter terms (how is it that time already?!!) and I’d love a quick show of hand re the group timetable please 🙏🏼

👍🏼 Mondays at 2-3pm will stay as it’s doing well

👍🏼 Wednesday night 6.10-7.10 is planned to stay too

❓I have availability with myself and at the hall for either a Thursday or Friday morning 9.15 ish group class and Thursday at 6pm.

😳 Someone else does want the hall at some of those times so I have to decide asap - so I’d love some feedback on if any of these times are suitable and if so I need to take names now!

☀️ Tuesday morning - private lessons are available to book

☀️ Wednesday 2-3pm group class (changed from Monday) this will be outside again if the weather is nice might as well make the most of it! (If you don’t want to go outside you can come to the studio at another time in place of that class just let me know)

☀️ Thursday morning - some availability for private and 1-1 lessons left

☀️ Zoom class 6.15 Thursday (all welcome and this one is currently pregnancy friendly!)

☺️Also the studio is a naturally cool room and I have fans so I’m confident that the temperature is absolutely fine for exercise 👍🏼 however if you’re suffering and don’t want to exercise please let me know as soon possible.

☀️Perhaps bring a small towel and a bottle of water 💦 feel free to wear shorts just as usual please no zips or jewellery

The big purple Pilates high Mat is out of storage and in the studio 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 💜 of course now I HAVE to do a quick tower Mat workout to celebrate 🎉 😂

I’m having a big ‘I love the tower’ phase at the moment and I think the feeling amongst my students is mutual too 🤞🏼😳 it really kicks my 🍑 every time 😂😂
