📜 The Crab Story

The Western symbol comes from Greek myth: Karkinos, a giant crab sent by Hera to distract Heracles during his battle with the Hydra. Though crushed, Hera honored its loyalty by placing it among the stars — giving us the name Cancer (Latin for “crab”).

Earlier Babylonians saw a turtle or crayfish here, calling it the “Gate of Man” — the portal where souls descend to Earth.

🪲 Egyptian View: The Sacred Scarab

The ancient Egyptians did not see a crab here — they saw the scarab beetle, linked to the sun god Khepri.

• The scarab rolls a ball of earth, just as Khepri was said to roll the sun across the sky each day

• It symbolized rebirth, renewal, and the eternal cycle of life — perfect, because this constellation marked the summer solstice (the sun’s highest point before turning back)

I’m really excited to share that I’m releasing my new album focused on the energy of Gemini—please keep an ear out, as it will be available to stream on all major platforms very soon.

As part of our star sign collection, we explore what makes Gemini so special.

This sign is closely linked to the throat chakra, our centre of communication and self-expression, and connected to the colour blue, known for bringing calm, clarity, and openness.

This album is a beautiful blend of sounds. It includes recordings from live sessions, crystal tone baths using pure quartz singing bowls, gong baths, and deeper sound baths alongside original compositions. I have written all the music myself, then woven in these healing elements to give it real meaning and substance. Every part stays true and authentic to the unique energy of Gemini.

Gemini is the third sign of the zodiac, falling roughly between 21 May and 20 June.

It is an air sign, associated with curiosity, ideas, learning, and connection.

Ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication, it encourages us to speak up, ask questions, and share our thoughts.
