Hi everyone. Quite a lot to pack into this message following a club meeting yesterday. Unfortunately we will be unable to run the Champion of Champions show. The showground is wet and probably won't dry out this year. The show dates for next year are: 18th May, 15th June, 20th July, 17th August and the COC show on 21st September. Any rider/handler who qualified for this years COC show can have one free class entry at our first show on 18th May. This entry can be in any class not just the one they qualified in. Some might have noticed the absence of a show in April. Looking back we realised how often we prepare for the April show only for it to be cancelled due to wet ground. We need the return of trophies in order for them to be passed to this years winners. The club AGM will be held on Friday 8th November at 7pm in Fobbing village hall. Please come along to the meeting and don't forget those trophies. New committee members will be warmly welcomed. Take care everyone and the committee will see you soon.

Committee are meeting tonight at 7pm at Fobbing village hall, if anyone wishes to drop of their trophies 🏆 we will be there until 8:30pm
Next opportunity will be 8th November.

Morning. Regretfully we have to cancel the show. We were happy to run in the rain. The only issue was if we had a lot of overnight rain. The club needs the support of the landowner. They have not stopped the show but were concerned if there was a lot of rain. The ground will now be very wet and there is the prospect of damage and also of vehicles getting stuck. The reason for us trying so hard to get this show to run was due to the fact that further opportunities are scarce. We will update when the committee has had an opportunity to consult.

Afternoon. The show is going ahead on Sunday. Bring your wellies and waterproofs. We have been looking at our options and they are restricted by lack of available committee and judges. There are also other shows that we have to put in the equation. When we set up the rings tomorrow we will also complete the putting away of jump and dressage equipment. Please take a couple of hours to help out if you're able. Thanks so much and sorry if we have messed you around.

We are watching the weather closely. Don't mind a bit of rain but thunder and lightning is different. Will decide on Saturday morning if not before.

Morning. Weather currently looks good for the COC show next weekend. We would like to start collecting last year's trophies. Obviously, as you paid a deposit, you can't just drop them off somewhere. We suggest that you bring them to the COC show where it would be easy to refund. Alternatively you can bring them to a committee meeting. These are held on the second Friday of every month the next being on Friday 11th October at 7pm in Fobbing village hall, the same location where they were awarded.
