Orrell Cricket Club - Last Night Of The Proms

We are so excited to announce our first women’s taster session.

Following a very successful Prosecco cricket event in May, we have seen interest grow for the sport so are now putting on sessions for women🏏🩷

Our first session will be this Wednesday 10th June, 6:00pm-7:00pm, all ages and abilities are welcome to come down and give it a go.

We are delighted to be hosting another game of representative cricket down at Orrell this week. We have Lancashire U14s vs Durham U14s starting at 10:45am tomorrow! 🏏

Our very own Henry Makinson will be playing in the Lancashire side, so get down and support Henry and his team! 🌹💪🏼

Due to the typical British weather cancelling our first attempt at our girls taster session, we are back this Friday 5th June to welcome new girls to try a taster cricket session.

We cant wait to provide an opportunity for girls to come down and learn the sport in a welcoming and fun environment 🩷🏏

Just a quick reminder before the rush starts later tonight for gazebo and adult tickets:

• All youth and child tickets MUST be purchased with an adult ticket
• All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult on the day otherwise entry will not be permitted
• Once tickets are in your basket you’ll have 10 minutes to complete checkout
• Please make sure you add any youth and child tickets during checkout

Once adult tickets are sold out, there will be no further opportunity to add additional under 18 tickets before the event.

Just a quick reminder on a few important bits before the rush starts for gazebo and adult tickets tomorrow:

• All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult on the day or entry will not be permitted

We have confirmed our first ever charity finals day competition.🏏🏆

Join us on Sunday 24th May as 4 teams representing 4 amazing charities go head to head in the hundred style cricket games to play for the beyond the boundary trophy.

Our 4 charities will be represented by our local community coming together to raise as much money as possible for:

🩵Diabetes UK
💗Holly’s hearts
💜Wigan and Leigh Hospice
