The club held the Harold Ward Memorial Trophy today which consisted of 100 English S***t, a discipline Harold excelled at, shot in fairly breezy weather conditions.

Derek Firth emerged a clear winner with 94/100 followed by Victor Smith on 84.

The Club held a 100 ABT and a 100 Olympic S***t Scottish Selection today, which coincided with our Shetland visitors contesting the inter county.

Ewen Johnson came first with an excellent 97/100, closely followed by Bryan Sutherland on 96.

In the S***t Emily Gifford scored 69/100.

2026 INTERCOUNTY RESULTS

Shetland take the A Cups, while Orkney take the B.

After 25 ABT, 25 DTL, 25 English S***t & 25 Sporting the scores were counted and the best 4 scores were to count. Shetland won't the A Cup with Bryan Sutherland taking High Gun. Orkney won the B Cup with Billy Harcus winning High Gun.

The Club held a 50 Sporting competition today consisting of pairs of targets and targets on report.

After the scores were totalled up Derek Firth was the winner on 43/50, followed by Graeme Wilson on 37.

Next weekend the Club will host the annual inter county against Shetland.

This weekend the Club held a double ABT selection shoot for entry into the Scottish team.

On both days Stewart Clouston came out with the top scores on a 93/100 and a 92/100.

Winner of both was Victor Smith with scores of 81 and 84.5. Well done.
