The Club held a 50 Sporting today, in dry and bright conditions, consisting of simultaneous pairs and pairs on report over 5 stands.

In joint first place was Dennis Stevenson and Victor Smith on 43/50 followed by David Kennedy in third place on 38.

The Club held a 100 ABT Scottish Team Selection qualifier today for the 2027 Team.

First place went to Victor Smith on 93/100 followed by Stewart Clouston on 91.

The Club held the Bill Cload Trophy today which consisted of 100 Compak Sporting shot over 4 rounds of 25 clays.

Derek Firth came in first place with 93/100 followed by Dennis Stevenson on 89/100.

The club held a 100 ABT selection shoot today in slightly breezy conditions.

Alan Clouston was high gun on an impressive 90/100 followed by Stewart Clouston on 88.

Today saw 12 shooters compete for the Licensed to Clean Shield which comprised 100 Down The Line (DTL).

Scoring for DTL is done first on overall hits then it is multiplied by 3 to give the points and one point is removed for every second barrel hit. Therefore the best score in each round is 25/75.

After 100 targets shot in varying conditions with the wind gradually increasing it was down to two points for first and second place.

Victor Smith was high gun with 95/280 with Calum Corse in second place with 95/278

Huge thanks to Davie Campbell and Mervyn Ward from Licensed to Clean for their continued sponsorship of the trophy, prizes and for supplying some sustenance. We hope you enjoyed having a shot too.

Scores below from the second of this weekends 100ABT Selections. Conditions were perfect with blue skies and no wind.

92 seems to be the trend of the weekend with Alan Moar coming out on top today with 92/100. Well done to him, and all the other shooters who took part. Special thanks to Iain and Alan who both travelled to shoot with us.

The shoots for the week ahead are 50DTL on Thursday starting at 18:30, and the licenced to clean 100DTL on Sunday starting at 10:30.

The Club held a 50 Sporting shoot today in calm conditions attended by 7 competitors.

Derek Firth continued his run of wins with 40/50 followed by Billy Harcus on 34.
