So apparently I do have a heart, because this meant a lot

This message came out of the blue today from my client Jay

Now Jay and I first worked together back in 2018 (swipe across) when I worked I Manchester and he moved there for work

We didn’t get to work together as long as he or I would have like as he got moved for work which was out of his control

During our time together I knew he really enjoyed the process, so much so he joined me on a couple of Born Survivor 10km obstacle courses. Then have randomly bumping in to each at another born survivor September 2024 he asked to work with me online in preparation for his wedding earlier this year

Now we haven’t worked together since before his wedding, though we have spoken since

But to receive a message like this today really does mean the world

Check me getting all emotional 😅🥹

To have such an impact on people’s life is the reason I do what I do, so to hear from Jay that I have had such a positive impact on his life boosts my ego…..I mean makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside

Don’t understand the difference a good coach / personal trainer can have on your life. And yes I am saying that I’m good coach, because I wouldn’t have received a message like this if I was sh*t

If you want me to change your life, just like a did with Jay, you know where to find me 😎

Great event, great day, except for poor who got injured twice and stuck in the torpedo slide and had to be given a knife to cut himself free 😅😂

On to the next one 🏃🏃‍♀️

Me with my twin Stanley and .goulden at .education today for the practical exercise mechanics labs course

Incredible learning experience from .goulden himself and was great to put in to practice what’ve I’ve been learning each week online during the course so far.

Learning online is great, but nothing will ever beat the in person experience

Covering things such as:
- Anatomy
- Movement based assessments
- Exercise analysis
- Equipment analysis
- Ex*****on & cueing

Looking forward to the new few weeks of the course online and applying what I’ve learnt so far with my clients

After all, what makes me better makes my clients better

Born Survivor Capesthorne Hall 2025 Complete 💪🏻

Team On Your Left

With the biggest team I’ve had to date who join me

Every single client/friend who joined me did incredibly well and had a great time (even if they didn’t admit to it throughout 😅)

This is why they put up with me in the gym, because know they know it’s been in preparation for THIS! And it paid off 😎

Incredible teamwork, sticking together and helping each other

Started as a team, finished as a team 🙌🏻

On to the next one 🤪

I’m starting to see a pattern emerge

Last year I got all my clients on the Step Up app so all of their daily steps go on to a daily, weekly and monthly leaderboard for a little friendly competition

It’s worked extremely well, giving everyone a little extra push and motivation to do that little bit more

I set a challenge for each much such as whoever gets the most steps that month gets a prize

Which the first winner chose a tub of protein powder, so did the second and then so has

A pattern is emerging with them asking for protein powder, but I’m not complaining…..much

I won’t lie, I meant to post this end of last year but I’ll blab about moving house and the Christmas all getting in the way as to why I didn’t

But after Ellen has reminded me (probably more than once) to get this posted here we are

To celebrate her incredible achievement of 609,924 steps in one month 🤯🙌🏻

Back to the challenge for 2025 and to see who comes out on top for January….

……I’m currently sitting 2nd, surely if I come first I just buy myself a prize right?🤔

Born Survivor Gisburn 2024 Complete 💪🏻😎

Are great 10km course with 27 obstacles to get through! I love doing these things, you get to be a kid again!

Always great to have a great team, especially when a client of yours from 5 years ago happens to be there at the same time and you adopt him in to your team 😂

Time to start planning for the next one in April and recruiting the next time 🙌🏻

As you can tell, my client Jake and I are very close 😂

You’d expect this after 18 months

You can also tell we didn’t quite know what pose to do whilst I handed him is prize for winner our competition in July……so we tried a close, medium and far poses to complete the set

Why did Jake win his choice of protein powder? (he picked Apple Strudel……I’m really not sure why 🤮)

In July I started a ‘friendly’ step competition with all my clients in a leaderboard so their daily steps get added by that to give them all a little more motivation to get more steps by competing against each other…..and some took it REALLY seriously 😅

Jake finished top with a grand total of 516,222 steps of the month, an average of 16,652 per day 👏🏻

As a result of his victory this was his prize

We then got everyone to set themselves a new target for August to improve on what steps them managed in July, let’s see who comes out on top next time round

ROUND 2! FIGHT

…..a little Tekken quote there

Okay bye bye now
