💚💙 SENIOR COLTS — ONWARDS & UPWARDS! 💙💚

What a way to continue the build-up to the 2026/2027 season! 👊🏉

Our Ormskirk Rugby Club Senior Colts travelled to Burnley today, battling through some typically hit-and-miss weather to come away with an impressive 34–17 victory! 🔥

What makes this result even more special is the journey these lads have been on. Coming together during the off-season as a brand-new group across two age ranges, they’ve worked hard, bought into each other and, most importantly, gelled together as a team.

You can already see the belief, togetherness and team spirit developing — and that is something that can only get stronger as the season progresses.

A massive well done to all the players, coaches and everyone involved. Today’s result is another positive step in what promises to be a very exciting season ahead.

🏉 M&J REGISTRATION DAY — TOMORROW! 🏉

We’re looking forward to opening our doors tomorrow morning and welcoming all our M&J players for registration as we begin preparations for our 2026/27 Centenary Season! 💯

We can’t wait to welcome our kids, parents, coaches, families and the wider community down to the club to get registered and be part of the best game on earth! 🏉

There’s a real buzz around Ormskirk Rugby Club at the moment, and the club is making massive strides in the right direction. We’re incredibly excited about what the future holds and, in our 100th year, we want everyone to be part of it. 💚💙

After a busy summer, we’re delighted to announce that our Monthly Quiz Night is returning to Ormskirk Rugby Club! 🎉

🌱 THE PITCH IS LOOKING PRISTINE! 🏉

The grass is looking absolutely spot on ahead of the new season, and there’s no better way to christen it than with a big cup game! 💪

Next Saturday, 12th September, we welcome St Edward’s O.B. to Green Lane for our long-awaited cup fixture, with kick-off at 2:15pm.

After a busy summer of work behind the scenes, the pitch is looking in great shape and ready for the Gingerbread Men to get stuck into some competitive rugby! 🔵🟢

It’s our Centenary Year, it’s a cup game, and we want to see plenty of support down at Green Lane as we get the 2026/27 season properly underway.

🏉 2026/27 LEAGUE FIXTURES ARE HERE! 🏉

The wait is almost over, and we can now announce the league fixtures for both our 1st XV and 2nd XV for the 2026/27 season! 💚💙

After a frustrating push-back to the start of the season, the countdown is finally on and we couldn’t be more excited to get back out on the pitch, competing, representing the club and putting all the hard work from pre-season into action.

Our 1st XV will compete in Counties 3 ADM Lancashire & Cheshire – Northern Division, while our 2nd XV will compete in NOWIRUL Division 4 West.

📅 The fixture lists include a great mix of home and away games, giving everyone plenty of opportunities to get behind the teams throughout the season.

A quick reminder: these lists cover league fixtures only and do not include any cup games. As soon as those fixtures are confirmed, we’ll be sure to let you know.

Former professional rugby league player Rhodri Lloyd, who most recently represented the Widnes Vikings and Wales at international level, is bringing his experience to a new series of circuit training sessions!

🏉 A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS, CHRIS! 🔵🟢

Everyone at Ormskirk Rugby Club would like to wish Chris Kirby a massive congratulations on signing for Championship side Rotherham Titans! 👏

Chris, son of former Ormskirk captain Cliff Kirby, came through the Ormskirk Mini & Junior pathway before progressing to the Sale Sharks Academy — a fantastic achievement and one we’re incredibly proud to see.

From the club where it all started to the Championship… what a journey! 💪
