🎒 Back to school means back to routines — and back to concentrating.

For many children, the return to school after the long summer break can be a real adjustment. Sitting still, listening carefully, remembering instructions and staying focused when there are distractions around them all take practice.

Martial arts gives children an enjoyable way to practise those same skills.

In our latest article, we look at how martial arts training can help children develop focus and concentration — through listening, repetition, movement, self-control and learning to stay engaged even when something is challenging.

These aren't just skills for the dojang. They're skills children can take back into the classroom and use in everyday life.

🎒 BACK TO SCHOOL: CONFIDENCE IN THE FACE OF BULLYING

As children head back to school, bullying is something no parent wants their child to face.

But confidence doesn’t mean teaching children to fight.

It means helping them learn to stand tall, communicate clearly, set boundaries, walk away when they can, ask for help when they need it — and know how to protect themselves as a last resort.
