I am a BHS Senior Coach and Rider (BHSII/BHS stage 4 coach in complete horsemanship) available for schooling and lessons in dressage/flatwork, show jumping and cross country. I am fully qualified, insured, DBS checked and first aid trained. I am a very friendly, encouraging and enthusiastic coach with over 20 years equine experience. me to time :) I cater for riders of all ages (4 to 70 + years) and abilities and my current clients compete in all disciplines including dressage, show jumping, eventing, WH and showing. I tailor my lessons according to the personal goals of the rider. This may include improving confidence, developing jump technique, learning how to execute lateral work correctly, introducing cross country training or progressing and moving up to the next level within your chosen discipline. Alongside coaching, I also offer:
-Schooling – regular or one off sessions whilst you are on holiday
-Groundwork sessions including lunging and long reining - this may be to teach the fundamentals to you or your horse
-Clipping and trimming
My passion for horses extends beyond coaching and riding. I have a first class BSc (Hons) degree in Equine Science and Management, a Masters by Research in Equine Surfaces and a PhD in Equine Surfaces with a focus on how arena surfaces can influence Equine Biomechanics.
