Customer Notice: Special Event Closure
On Thursday 18th June there will be a full pool hall closures from 8.30am - 3.30pm due to a swimming gala special event. Last admittance will be at 7.40am until the swimming pools reopen again at 3.30pm.

💦 RLSS Drowning Prevention Week 2026 💦

Saturday 13th June to Saturday 20th June
At Omagh Leisure Complex, we believe swimming is more than a sport. It is a life skill.
As we support RLSS Drowning Prevention Week, we are encouraging parents and guardians to help children build confidence, safety awareness and essential swimming skills in and around water.
Our swimming lessons are designed to support children at every stage, from beginners taking their first steps in the water to swimmers developing technique, stamina and confidence.
We are also excited to offer our Rookie Lifeguard Camp, perfect for children who are confident in the water and would like to learn new lifesaving skills in a fun and active environment.

Customer Notice: Special Event Closures
On Saturday 13th June there will be full pool hall closures from 9am - 11.45am (due to swimming lessons and club bookings as normal) and again from 3pm - 5pm (due to a swimming gala special event). Last admittance to the pool hall will be at 2.10pm.
Please note that swimming lessons are going ahead as usual. Thank you for your understanding.

📢 Update on Roadworks - visitors to Omagh Leisure Complex & surrounding area

If you are visiting Omagh Leisure Complex and surrounding area, please be aware that the Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has advised the Council of upcoming temporary road closures on the following route:

Mountjoy Road, Old Mountfield Road and Lisanelly Avenue.

DfI Roads has advised the Council of the following temporary road closures to be implemented over the coming weeks:

🚧 Road closure B0048 Mountjoy Road: from Drumragh Avenue to Woodside Avenue
• From Friday 5 June (8.00pm) to Monday 8 June 2026 (6.00am)
• From Saturday 20 June (6.00am) to Monday 22 June 2026 (6.00am)

🚧 These closures are required to facilitate works as part of the Gortin Road Scheme.

Vehicle access will be retained for Lisanelly Avenue residents and emergency (blue light) vehicles and the Translink 'Gortin Road-Strathroy' service will operate as normal.

DfI Roads advises drivers to expect delays in the area, particularly at peak times, and to allow extra travel time or use the signed alternative routes.

🌊 NEW FOR SUMMER 2026 - OLC SWIM CAMP 🌊

We are delighted to introduce our brand new Swim Camp at Omagh Leisure Complex.
Designed for children aged 8-12 years, Swim Camp combines fun, fitness and skill development in a safe and supportive environment. Participants will build confidence in the water while developing their swimming technique through a range of engaging activities led by our experienced coaching team.

The programme will focus on:
🏊 Water safety
🏊 Stroke technique
🏊 Skill enhancement
🏊 Fun pool based activities
📅 Monday 3rd August – Friday 7th August
⏰ 9:30am - 11:30am
Suitable for children aged 8-12 years
Swim Camp is ideal for children currently in Junior 4, Senior 1, Senior 2, Senior 3, Rookie Lifeguards or equivalent who are confident swimming in the Main Pool.
Places are limited, so early booking is recommended.

Customer Notice
On the second Wednesday of every month we have a regular Staff Training Day.
✨This month, on Wednesday 10th June we will have a FULL BUILDING CLOSURE from 12pm - 5pm for further staff training.
Therefore last admission for all activities will be at 11am until the building reopens again at 5pm.
There will be no Aqua Fit Class at 12.10pm and there will be no swimming lessons on our staff training day.
Regular training ensures we can continue to deliver a high quality service to ensure your safety and enjoyment and we thank you for your continued support.

🏊 Weekend Swimming Sessions Info🏊🏿

To help manage demand during our busiest weekend periods, we are continuting to trial a swimming session system.

Customers will be issued with a coloured wristband for their allocated session on arrival. Different coloured wristbands will be used for each pool and session.

During particularly busy periods, you may be asked to wait before entering the pool area to ensure we remain within safe pool capacity limits. This helps us provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all customers.

We kindly ask that all customers treat our staff with respect. Our team are following operational procedures and guidance to ensure the safety and comfort of everyone using the facility.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and cooperation while we continue to trial this system.
