One week out from the 4x4x48.
It’s getting real now.

We kick off on 28th November at 7pm, and

I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s supported this so far — from the donations, the message’s and the lads running and training with me to those helping behind the scenes.

If anyone wants to jump in for a leg, help out in any way, or just come down and shout a bit of encouragement, you’re more than welcome.

here’s the breakdown of each leg:

Run 1 7pm Lough - Shark Tank
Run 2 11pm omagh - Youth Sport
Run 3 3am Saturday omagh -Youth Sport

7 things I wished I learned sooner 🤔

These are some of the things I knew starting out in the gym or in training.

1️⃣ Structure Beats Randomness

Random workouts = random results.
Follow a plan, track your progress, build momentum.



2️⃣ Recovery Is Part of Training

Progress happens when you rest — not when you burn out.
Sleep, eat, recover. Then come back stronger.



3️⃣ You Can’t Out-Train a Bad Diet

Food is fuel — but it’s also the key to changing your body.
Train hard, but eat like it matters.



4️⃣ Training Together Beats Training Alone

The right people push you further.
Energy is contagious — find your crew and rise together.



5️⃣ Consistency Over Intensity

One good week won’t change your body.
Months of showing up will.



6️⃣ Fuel Your Body, Don’t Starve It

Stop under/over eating and expecting progress.
Feed your goals, see the progress



7️⃣ Mobility and Stability Before Load

Move well before you move heavy.
Your foundation determines your ceiling.

Things I wished I learned sooner… 🤔🤔

If I was starting out training again I would try nail these 7 things because it took me far too long to realise they mattered!

1️⃣ Structure Beats Randomness
