It was great to have The Tour of Monaghan picked as the Ulster round of the Cycling Ireland Women’s Sportive series.
Aimed at getting more women out cycling together in a supportive environment. The 60km and 90km groups were led by female Ride Leaders and lots of craic was had.
Perfect day- cycling, chatting, sunshine, BBQ and a medal.
Thanks to .cycling.club for hosting.

With Tollymore closed, the Cycling Ulster Women’s Commission took our flagship event "on tour" to the stunning Corralea Activity Centre in Fermanagh.

We were thrilled to welcome 70 women from across the province for a brilliant morning of road cycling, gravel riding and e-biking.

The magic didn't stop when the bikes were parked.
The afternoon was all about connection as we wrapped up the day with a yoga session, a barbecue, and relaxation in the lakeside spa's hot tubs and saunas.

It was amazing to see so many new friendships formed and to welcome women who were discovering our community for the very first time.

Events like this simply would not happen without an incredible amount of dedication.

A huge thank you to all of our riders, ride leaders, and volunteers who made the trip to Fermanagh so special.
You proved that there is a vibrant, welcoming cycling community ready for any woman in Ulster.

Please share your photos below. We would love to see them 👇👇👇

Ards CC and Cycling Ulster are excited to bring the Ards Town Centre Races and the Ulster Criterium Championships to Newtownards Town Centre.

A special mention must go to Ards and North Down Borough Council for their support and willingness to allow Ards CC the opportunity to once again provide an evening of fast and furious racing on a specially arranged closed-road circuit.

Traffic management will commence the road closure process shortly after 5pm, with the evening’s festivities kicking off at 6pm, with a fun event for parents and children, offering a taste of closed-road cycling.

Racing is open to all Cycling Ireland racing licences from across the country.
Not only do we welcome Ulster riders to compete for coveted Ulster medals, but riders from all other provinces are also welcome to compete for prize money and valuable ranking points.

A reminder that the Ulster Championship Criterium will take place in Ards on Wednesday 17th June, hosted by Ards CC- registration opening soon.

The event promises to be a fantastic evening of racing, with championship races, youth races and a kids fun event taking place throughout the evening.

We are also delighted to be working with Ards CC to explore the possibility of running a dedicated Women's Only Race as part of the event programme.

To make this happen, we need sufficient rider interest and entries.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could share this opportunity with all the women in your networks.

This race is aimed at riders of all experience levels.
Many of the women who have already expressed an interest are participants in Cycling Ulster's Intro to TT programme and will be experiencing cycle racing for the first time.
Their willingness to step outside their comfort zone and give racing a try is fantastic to see, and we hope it will encourage others to do the same.

Any women interested in taking part, or who would like to find out more, are encouraged to contact me at [email protected].
