Our 8-week Track Club returns on 9th July.

Designed for all levels, these weekly coach-led sessions will help improve your speed, fitness, and overall running performance in a supportive group environment.

This is a workout that’s been part of the gym for over a decade now.

Some people came in knowing exactly what was ahead. Some had never done it before. Regardless of experience or fitness level, everyone was here for the same reason: to challenge themselves, support each other and be part of something bigger than themselves.

Spring Throwdown 🔥

A huge thank you to everyone who came down to support the Spring Throwdown — the athletes, judges, volunteers, spectators, and everyone behind the scenes who helped make the day what it was.

The atmosphere in the gym from first heat to final event was incredible, and seeing teams from across NI throwing down inside Chalk was exactly what we hoped this event would become.

To every team that competed, thank you for bringing the energy, effort, and standard all day long. And to our own community, thank you for showing up, supporting loudly, and helping create an environment people genuinely want to compete in.

May brings a fresh focus to our HYROX program. 🎯

Tuesdays → 40-minute EMOMs forcing consistent output under fatigue. 🔁

There’ll be no running in this session, so no hiding. You’ll learn how to manage local muscular fatigue and hold pace when everything starts to burn. That’s exactly where most people fall apart in a race.

Thursdays → Race-specific AMRAP + isolated run intervals. 🏃‍♀️

You’ll move through continuous HYROX stations, where the goal isn’t just to work hard, but to stay smooth and efficient as fatigue builds. Then you’re straight into isolated running intervals to build pace control and make your running more repeatable under fatigue.

Sundays → Our Sunday Simulation fills up fast, so we’ll be opening an additional class. 🤩

Positions & Consistency 🎯

We’re wrapping up Phase 1 of our weightlifting cycle this week, and we’re really happy with everyone’s progress. Lifts are looking sharper & more consistent across the week.

For May, the focus shifts to speed and turnover in the sn**ch and clean & jerk. The expectation now is that those same positions hold when intensity increases.

You’ll start to see complexes come into the main work. We’re moving from isolated pieces into sequences that link the pull, the low hang, and the full lift.

Get ready for new primers, new complexes, and heavier lifts ahead. 🤩
