BTC: Indoor tuition is permitted with 2m distancing for all age groups.

Tier 2
โ€œOrganised indoor sport, physical activity and exercise classes will only be permitted if it is possible for people to avoid mixing with people they do not live with (or share a support bubble with). There are exceptions for indoor disability sport, sport for educational purposes and supervised sport and physical activity for under-18s, which can take place with larger groups mixingโ€
BTC: Indoor tuition is permitted where the instructor can guarantee that, at no time, will the 2m distancing be compromised.

The BTC works closely with DCMS and all Home Country sports organisations and whilst the above is current at todayโ€™s date, the BTC advises instructors continually check their Home Country Return to Sport guidelines as these are subject to frequent change.

Today we celebrate the anniversary of the Birth of our Founder General Choi Hong Hi. A legacy the Pioneers, Grand Masters, Masters, Instructors and Students throughout the world, work hard to keep alive today.

Itโ€™s such a shame not to be having a session today to celebrate.

Great training session tonight. Everyone worked fantastically hard from the warmup all the way through patterns and some kicking drills.
Oh and the 200 press-ups. Well done ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ‘Š

SAVE OUR SPORT!

Martial arts schools offer a valuable service to their local communities. They work with children to tackle issues of bullying, improving discipline and building resilience, they help people of all ages improve their mental health and help manage stress, and they build strong supportive communities. We have become a forgotten sector and the livelihoods and well being of many people is being threatened. We are asking for our return to play plan to be signed off to save our sport!

Another great session last night, it was awesome seeing you all. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ‘Š

But, as you may be aware the PM has now increased the restrictions and one is surrounding indoor sports.
Currently the restriction of 6 is on indoor team sports. We are not a team sport so I am hopeful that this new restriction will not apply to us.
This could change at any moment so I will keep you informed.

As of Monday September 14th, we have a new temporary training venue. It is the Emberton Sports and Social Club (Cricket Pavilion). We start at 7pm and there is a gated car park.
Remember the new rule of 6, doesnโ€™t affect us as an organised sports team. See you all on Monday.
