GCRC 1/10 RC Crawler series Northern or Southern are quite simply the most well run, carefully thought out, welcoming and excellently executed in the UK. Then they top it off with a superb season ender invitational. GCRC are the backbone of this hobby on the UK and are building greater choice and experiences for us all. If you're already a fan of crawling then get in and join the comp scene and if your in to RC in anyway then crawling is well worth a look. Come on in and join the family. I still can’t believe this old warhorse managed to bag me runner up in Class 2 on my 1 andonly run, not bad for a TRX Sport, still kicking it with the LCG super rigs 😃😃, congrats to Gareth Jones on taking the top spot 👏👏

A great day had by all on the mountain, some really great terrain, it’s just a mission to get to it 🤣. The weather was interesting to say the least, the wind blowing towards the rock helped with grip though!

I’ve been a bit quiet on her recently, mainly due to life and stuff but things have been happening, The Goat has got a new body, ready for the run up Snowdon in June, it will also be making an appearance at the ‘22 Funduro and Southern Scale Trail.

The Comp rig is having a new body (Tamiya Blackfoot) to make it GCRC class 1 compliant, and will run in both class 1 and 2 and all the event I can get to.

The Vanquish is still in build/body shop, it might make it to some events this year, who knows.

My new rig, taking a long time to build and get it built right. Vanquish make some incredible kits, everything falls together very easily. There’s been a bit of customisation along the way to get it where I want it, including getting rid of the battery tray and side trays and integrating them into on for batteries and electronics, I cut it out of G10.
It’s running a Copperhead and Trailmaster brushless with 5 channel receiver for lights, winch etc.
The kit wheels are being skipped in place of some black and orange bead locks with Krawlers (predator compound).
Next up is masking and painting the body 😩
